Mission Statement
~8.10.7~

There was a time when people were held responsible for their own actions. Common sense was even considered a virtue. Things have changed...

People are no longer expected to use their minds. We live in a society that believes everything should be achieved without any thought or effort. This expectation has systematically undermined one of our most basic human abilities: Survival.

These days, we put warning labels on even the most obvious dangers. Bottles of poison caution us against ingestion. The food we cook informs us that it will become "hot." Footage of stuntmen set on fire must include the footnote: DO NOT ATTEMPT. This system is designed not to protect people from external danger...but from themselves.

In essence, society has effectively halted natural selection, by doing everything it can to idiot-proof the world.

Even worse, when someone still manages to harm themselves through their own stupidity, we allow them to sue! Frivolous lawsuits make it into our court system every day, and some of them are even successful! We seem to have created an entire system to reward useless people. They are not punished for their idiocy; they profit from it and thrive!

So, what now?

Here at Everything's OK, we believe that it's time to break the cycle. It's time to realize humanity's full potential, and the first step is awareness.

In the future we'd like to take an active role in changing the system. For now, we're starting out with one big idea: The end of the warning label as we know it.

We've created a simple logo that speaks to our feelings on the subject. If you'd like, you can buy this design on high-quality vinyl stickers for as low as $0.50 each. If you don't want to spend the money, please feel free to use our bandwidth to plaster the internet with virtual stickers. Either way, you'll be letting the world know how you feel.

No matter what you do, at least get the word out about this cause. Let everybody know that it's time for a change. If this little art project of ours can change the outcome of even one frivolous lawsuit, then we'll feel that we've done our part.

In any case, we hope that the next time you see an unnecessary warning label you'll at least find yourself mentally covering it up with a great big:

Everything's OK
